Sirtris’ Red Wine Chemical to Take Back Seat to Synthetics

Missed this article the first time around, but Boston-area biotech Sirtris has been developing novel new molecules that perform like reservatrol, only 1000 times better. Reservatrol is the substance in red wine that lengthens lifespans. In tests, one of Sirtris’s super-reservatrol molecules doubled the life spans of laboratory mice.
